The Center facilitated a Peer Learning Session for the Luzon (and Visayas) Cluster of Fellows last June 5, 2008 at the Asian Institute of Management, as part of its learning support for the Fellows of the Center’s Bridging Leadership Fellows Program. The event was attended by Director Lorna Dino of the NEAP, LtC Francis Alaurin of the Philippine Army, Col. Boing Ecarma of the Philippine Marines, Mayor Tante Gerdan of Santa Fe, Nueva Vizcaya, and Director Ted Romo of DSWD-7. The event was facilitated by the Center’s Executive and Associate Directors, Prof. Ernie Garilao and Mr. Mike Juan. Prof. Titong Gavino also joined some of the discussions in the second half of the session.

CFSI Proposals Reach Panibagong Paraan Finals
18 04 2008Congratulations to BL Fellow, Mr. Vlad Hernandez of the Community and Family Services International (CFSI). Their three proposals reached the final round of the Panibagong Paraan Grant Competition (which is indeed a rare feat), and out of the three proposals, one won project funding and another won special citations and awards. Malcolm Garma Conducts BL Orientation for School Participants

Suptd. of DepEd – Cabanatuan City and Bridging Leadership Fellow, for successfully conducting a BL Orientation for School Principals in Cabanatuan last January 25, 2008. Malcolm envisions these School Principals to be part of his core group which will help him in addressing the education issues in Cabanatuan.
