The quest for Asian peace and prosperity in the aftermath of World War II, inspired the Institute’s founders to establish the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) where successive generations of Asian managers could be trained to think independently, act collectively, manage effectively, and lead responsibly. The AIM is committed toward making a difference in sustaining the growth of Asian societies by developing professional, entrepreneurial, and socially responsible leaders and managers. To this day, AIM leads in the region’s socio-economic transformation by offering unique educational opportunities and cross-cultural experiences to citizens from developing and developed economies worldwide. It remains that center of excellence where builders of Asian societies network to shape their progressive common future. Over 24,000 students from 30 Asian countries and 33 nations from other regions have completed graduate studies and executive education programs at the Institute.
